Marlene's seeds of a variegated cultural perspective were sown throughout her early years in Asheville, NC, Milwaukee, WI, and Israel. Mainly working in encaustics, mixed media, oils, and acrylics, Marlene also creates in watercolors and has experimented in metalsmithing and stone work.
